Privacy policy

Short version: this site collects as little as possible, and what you send is used only to answer you.

Quiet corridor in a modern office

Who is responsible

The controller of any personal data described here is BEE Strategy Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Registered as . Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number . Contact for anything on this page: the business e-mail address.

What is collected

Only what you send yourself. Nothing is gathered in the background. The contact form asks for three things that are actually needed to answer you: your name, your e-mail address and your message. Company and subject are optional, and if you leave them blank they are not transmitted at all.

If you write by e-mail or call instead, the same applies to whatever you choose to share.

Why it is allowed to be used

Two grounds under the GDPR, and no others. Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the contact form and can withdraw at any time. And the step of taking measures at your request before entering into a contract, which is what answering an enquiry about an engagement is.

How it is used

To answer you, and for nothing else. It is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used to build a profile and not added to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.

No tracking, no cookies

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising pixels and writes nothing to your browser storage. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The details, and how to check it for yourself, are in the cookie policy.

Who else sees it

The website is served as static files by a hosting provider, and the contact form is delivered by a form service. Both act as processors: they handle the data on instruction and may not use it for their own purposes. Standard server logs, which include an IP address and browser details, are kept by the hosting provider for security and reliability.

The fonts and images on this site are served from this domain and not from a third party, so loading a page does not reveal you to anyone else.

How long it is kept

An enquiry that does not lead to work is deleted within twelve months. Correspondence that belongs to an actual engagement is kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires business records to be retained that long. Ask for earlier deletion and it happens, unless that retention obligation applies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what is held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, have its use restricted, receive it in a portable form, or object to its use. Consent can be withdrawn at any moment, which does not affect what was done before you withdrew it.

Send the request to the business e-mail address and it is handled within one month, free of charge. No particular form is needed, an e-mail saying what you want is enough.

If you are not satisfied

Raise it directly first, it is usually the fastest route. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page. Questions go to the business e-mail address, or call +31 6 41 97 53 78.
